How to register

Register online
Submit your ACRL 2017 registration via the online registration form.  Please note, you will need to log in to your ALA account or create a new one if you don’t have an ALA profile.  Please expect to receive e-mail confirmation within 24 hours.

Register by mail or fax
Print off a copy of the ACRL 2017 registration form (PDF file) and mail or fax your completed form to 301-694-5124.  Please expect to receive an e-mail confirmation within three to five business days of receipt of your form.

Registration fee includes:
  • More than 300 educational programs including keynote and invited presentations, panel sessions, contributed papers, workshops, roundtable discussions, TechConnect presentations, and poster sessions
  • Access to the ACRL 2017 Virtual Conference featuring over 130 slidecasts, live webcasts, handouts, discussion boards, podcasts, and more
  • Entry to the ACRL 2017 exhibits Wednesday through Friday
  • Opening exhibits reception Wednesday evening
  • All-Conference Reception Friday evening
  • Daily morning and afternoon refreshment breaks

Note:  Members of the Maryland Library Association may register at the ACRL member rate.

Daily rates
Daily registration will be available onsite; rates are: $240 for ACRL members, $290 for ALA members, $340 for nonmembers, $85 for library school students, and $130 for retired.  You may only select the single-day option for one day; single-day rates may not be combined.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations received on or before February 10, 2017 are entitled to a refund minus a $100 processing fee. Preconference registration cancellations received by February 10, 2017 will receive a refund minus $50. Cancellations received after February 10, 2017 will not receive a refund.  The ACRL Conference, preconferences, and related events are offered on a cost-recovery basis and may be cancelled due to adverse events beyond the control of ACRL or if there is insufficient registration. In the event that an ACRL-sponsored activity is cancelled, ACRL cannot be responsible for any cancellation/charge assessed to registrants by airlines, travel agencies, or hotels.

Preconference only

Group discounts

ACRL offers group discounts to institutions that register 10 or more employees for the conference.  To qualify, all registrants in the group must be employed at the same institution and on the same campus.

Exhibits-only registration
Complimentary exhibits-only badges will be available for Thursday and Friday.

International Attendees
ACRL welcomes guests from over 25 countries at every conference!  Please contact us if you require an official letter of invitation. The letter of invitation does not financially obligate ACRL in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference are the sole responsibility of the attendee.
