Virtual Conference

The ACRL Virtual Conference enhances the conference experience for attendees onsite and also provides an important professional development opportunity to those unable to travel to ACRL 2019.  The Virtual Conference will be offered live April 10-12, 2019.

The Virtual Conference will feature Slidecasts (PowerPoint presentations synced with real-time audio) from every contributed paper, invited presentation, panel session, and TechConnect program presented at ACRL 2019. These slidecasts, nearly 200 total, will be available online for all online-only and face-to-face participants shortly after the conference.

This means that online-only Virtual Conference participants will be able to see and hear every paper and panel program, and face-to-face conference participants will no longer have to regret the programs they missed because there was so much going on at the same time! This feature gives you more for your money and provides an opportunity to revisit sessions all year long.

Additionally, the Virtual Conference will include the archive of virtual poster sessions presented onsite in Cleveland.

And, if that’s not enough, the Virtual Conference will include a number of live webcasts accepted exclusively for presentation at the Virtual Conference. These webcasts will bring librarians together within the virtual community to interact in real time with online-only participants.

“I loved knowing that I can access the virtual conference for one year–really helped me decide what to focus on.”
